Office of International Affairs

About

Duta Wacana Christian University Office of International Affairs (OIA) was initiated in 2003 and based on the university organizational structure, this office is directly under the instruction of the Vice Rector of Partnership and Institutional Development. OIA's work scope includes the networking with the overseas universities, coordinating the international affairs, and assisting the university in developing the human resources, such as by developing the post graduate and doctorate programs, research, students and lecturers exchange, seminar, workshop, and community services.

OIA also functions in coordinating proposals and organizing programs proposed internationally. Yet, OIA actively participates in designing programs to support the achievement of creative teaching process of the Duta Wacana Christian University lecturers, helping students in strengthening and integrating the resources characters, and generating programs to develop leadership networking based on serving in the university


VISION

Assisting the university members in experiencing academic matters internationally in order to be able to apply it in the process of creative and innovative education and teaching based on the Christian spirit to deliver qualified, well-mannered, and conscientious people of Indonesia in the globalizing world.

MISSION

Building transnational networks and partnership based on love, trust, and justice.

HOW TO JOIN US?

To be eligible to join OIA as student assistant, a prospective candidate should meet these conditions :

  • Be currently enrolled in DWCU (All departments are welcome), minimum semester 5
  • Minimum GPA 3.25
  • Healthy body, mind and soul
  • Proficient in English (Written & Spoken)
  • Highly motivated in learning new things and adaptable in all situations
  • Creative, communicative, hard working and initiative
  • Experience in organizations/associations and able to work in team
  • Knowledge of computer appliances and program (Office, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Video Maker, Website, etc) will be an advantage.
