2017 Global Cultural Exchange Summer Camp @ Formosa

Chang Jung Christian University has proudly open the registration for 2017 Global Cultural Exchange Summer Camp @ Formosa. The purpose of this summer camp is to expand the participants’ global vision as well as the knowledge of other cultures that each participant will bring and share it throughout the event. For three consecutive years, CJCU has extended the invitation to UKDW as one of their international university partners to participate in this year’s Summer Camp.

The event will be held on August 21-26, 2017 at Chang Jung Christian University, Taiwan. Participants will go on field trips, attend seminars, and have hands-on experience of cultural affairs. The room and board as well as the cost of the camp are free of charge with the exception of additional costs such as transport fares (plane, bus, train), entrance ticket to museums, and participants’ personal purchases. UKDW will provide subsidy for visa and insurance fees. 

UKDW will send three students as the campus representatives to participate in this event. The requirements for registration are listed below:

  1. Copy of Student ID
  2. Copy of ICE / TOEFL certificate (keep in mind that English will be the official language of communication at the camp)
  3. Copy of Passport
  4. Academic Transcript
  5. Letter of Recommendation from Vice Dean for Student Affairs (WD III)
  6. Personal essay about your motivation and expectation in joining “2017 Global Cultural Exchange Summer Camp @ Formosa”

Students who are interested in participating will have to submit all of the requirements to Office of Partnership and Public Relations (Bureau IV) before April 21, 2017.
