This division assists students and lecturers who want to do community service through Service - Learning Program. It manages collaboration among students, academic advisors or lecturers, community and local government as well as Non Government Organizations. The main objective of the Service - Learning program is to teach the students theories as well as the practice of how to empower poor community.
This program is meant for the students to develop a better understanding of reality of the world; to motivate them to solve the problems; to understand and consider what they can do for the community; to learn how they can serve others; to consider the purpose of their lives; to strengthen their sense of responsibility; to be more confident and compassionate; to be more trustworthy in leadership. Learning from low-income communities in Indonesian, they can help less-fortunate people in improving their surrounding environmental quality and elevating their standard of living.
